For this project  we had to anwse the promt of in 2020 which political party will we vote as . when we become older i have writen a 4 page essay to anwser this prompt. 

 

Political Parties

 

 

  After examining the issues surrounding which political party i should vote as in the 2020 election. I have noticed I am an independent party (neither). I believe in both beliefs of each party . I believe in the core american beliefs and wants like : freedom,equality ,and democracy.

 

      One reason i maintain this position is theses 3 issues . The first issue is  democrats wants to spend government money on to provide Protection of Natural Resources why because the want our future to use our natural resources so its important to protect to reuse and enjoy it.They republicans think use the national government for this is a waste of money. They think the money should be use to Fight Against Terrorism abroad because its a whole nother  type of criminal activity and should be protected in a special way like our military not our regular crime task force (like the a police ) On this issue i agree with the republican because terrorism is a big deal.The second issue is the democrats think that  Equal Access to Healthcare because all americans deserve to have affordable health care and our 44th (current)President; Barack Obama made a healthcare seviers called obama care and this has 3 levels of better healthcare seviers it bronze,silver,and gold .The republicans say that instead they should use that money provide to  Lower Taxes because the believe  if we can lower taxes to benefit society so basically they can keep half of the pay and they can afford healthcare and every thing that comes along with it . The third (and last) issue that i completely agree with the republicans is expanding the rights for gays and lesbians . Democrats believe this was the correct thing to do because they think men and women can be with whoever they want because its fair but as the republicans think that Family Values  is important because its respecting tradition and the bible. (the bible states in corinthians 6:9 says “Or do you not that unrighteous ,will not in the right to enter the kingdom of god? D\do NOT be deceived :neither the adulterers, nor men (and women ) Who practice homosexualiity ,nor the theives ,nor the greedy, nor the drunkards ,nor swindlers,will not inherit the kingdom of god.

 

              In the article jr Scholastic “Decision Time” by Patricia Smith and  Brook Ross,They bothemphizied that the two canidates barack obama and mitt romney have very different answers to various of different questions . obama sees government has a vital role in boosting the economy and yet, romney however, believes too much government regulation and taxes makes it harder for businesses to create jobs. By knowing why the two parties are so very different in their decisions i have firsthand experience with understanding the history of the two parties. Democratic-Republic party was founded by candidate thomas jefferson. The two parties alloys were a group called the federalist  then there two parties split up . The The democrats was led by candidate Andrew jackson. This party wanted limit the powers of the government and a strict interpretation of the constitution. The republicans (also known as the grand old party) was formed in the 1850s. They were a group of anti-slavery members which was campaigned by abraham lincoln. Democrats are more liberal to different things like social programs there more open to different things This party loves to raise taxes as long as it benefits society. The republicans are more into lowering taxes to help society its also very unlikely for them to embrace social program wide -reaching. the favorite government spending on the military. Knowing This information has strengthened my perspective that i know enough to choses what party to vote as in 2020 But i still stand strong as an independent party Although a common argument is deciding how you are going to go about choosing your party but clearly there is evidence thats show choosing your party is based on your beliefs or other things like upbringing,ethnicity,religion,culture,friends,work,media, politicians ,and random people (like strangers).

 

      In conclusion there still is one factor sure to understand is as the parties the go on there more likely to continue not see eye to eye they will keep having there differences, opinions, and how our country should be allocated but until they stop therefore, i will remain an independent party.
